Noortje Vredeveld - Classical guitarist

‘What a beautiful instrument!’ is often said after Noortje's concerts. Although everybody is familiar with the guitar, the classical guitar appears to be less known. With her concerts Noortje would like to show the audience the different sides of  her instrument and let them experience the classical music. 

Noortje graduated cum laude from the Conservatory of Amsterdam in 2015. At this same conservatory she obtained her master's degree in 2017 with the remark very good (9). In addition, Noortje received in 2016 the award for best Dutch participant of the international guitarcompetition Twente.  

She studied with renowned guitarists Johannes Möller and Lex Eisenhardt. Noortje also followed masterclasses of i.a. GFA winner Judicaël Perroy, Grammy winner Jason Vieaux and flamencoguitarist Eric Vaarzon Morel.  

Noortje has performed multiple times on Dutch national radio, guitarfestivals and various concert locations. Her playing is described as a 'very personal sound' and 'beautiful tone'.

Apart from concerts Noortje also teaches guitar herself. With this she wants to carry her knowledge and passion for guitar forward. Click here for more information about her lessons.
